Prior to the national NACAC convention in Seattle, Whitman College is offering counselors an opportunity to get acquainted with the College in charming Walla Walla.
Counselors may take the 50 minute flight from Seattle to Walla Walla at 9:45 a.m. and return to Seattle at 4:20 p.m. Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday September 22-24, or drive to campus. The NACAC convention begins Thursday September 25th.
The program will consist of a meeting with Dean of Admission and Financial Aid Tony Cabasco, a meal with students, a class visit and a campus tour.
Whitman College is a nationally ranked liberal arts college attracting bright, unpretentious students from 45 states and 30 countries. The College admits less than 50% of its diverse applicant pool. Walla Walla, in southeastern Washington, is a lovely four-season town of 30,000 with 300 days of sunshine and a vibrant arts and agriculture economy.
