Noémie moved back to the States in July 2023 after spending 3 years living and working in Europe. She grew up in Switzerland, but spent most of her adult life in Oregon, where she received her MA in French at Portland State University in 2003. Her work experience has evolved around a variety of educational environments, including college adjunct teaching, as well as administrative roles at private secondary schools in the US and Portugal. She is excited to join the ARC team at Whitman, committed to support accessibility for all students on campus. In her spare time, Noémie enjoys music-making, hiking, and spending time with her family who revels in being back in familiar surroundings after many adventures of expat life abroad.
