Feng Kang
Pianist Feng Kang has captivated audiences across North America, China, and Taiwan, performing as a soloist with renowned orchestras such as the Taipei Symphony Orchestra, Kaohsiung Youth Symphony Orchestra, and National Kaohsiung Normal University Orchestra. A winner of several international competitions, including the Elevato Piano Competition in Poland, the Cambridge Music Competition in the UK, the American Virtuoso International Music Competition, and the National Taiwan Music Competition, he also delivered a standout performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Feng earned his Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from Michigan State University, under the guidance of Margarita Shevchenko and Derek Polischuk, receiving merit-based and endowed scholarships, as well as fellowships from the university.
In addition to his passion for solo performance, Feng actively explores organ, chamber music, piano collaboration, and composition. He has over a decade of experience in piano teaching.
