What is the schedule for the day?
You’ll arrive between 8-8:30 a.m. to check in for the day and grab a light breakfast. After an opening welcome session, you can choose your own adventure for the day. During the morning, you’ll have the options to:
- Take a tour of campus
- Get an introduction to all Whitman has to offer
- Hear from current students about being a Whittie
- Meet the Career and Community Engagement staff
Brunch will be provided as our treat between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., along with opportunities to learn about Whitman clubs and organizations and get a sneak peek into our residence halls. Starting at 11, we will also be offering one-on-one meetings with various resource staff on campus.
In the afternoon, you'll get a chance to:
- Attend a class
- Join a Q and A with staff who oversee student life and support, and diversity and inclusion
- Take specialty tours to learn more about science, our Outdoor Program, the arts, and fitness and recreational facilities
- Find out about study away programs
How do I register for a Spring Into Whitman Day?
We are excited to offer you a special day to learn more about Whitman. We are offering two options, April 6 or April 13. Register for Spring Into Whitman Day now!
How do I know what activities are available on a specific day?
Each Spring Into Whitman Day offers a different range of activities. To see which specific options are available on a particular day, you’ll need to enter that day’s registration page. You can always go back to check out the options on another day.
Will my guests be able to attend the same activities as I do?
Yes, for the most part. However, some faculty-led classes may be limited due to space. Schedules will be provided at check-in for the Spring Into Whitman Day.
How do I travel to Walla Walla? Where should I stay?
Walla Walla has an airport with a flight to and from Seattle daily, and nearby Pasco has additional flight options. We are also fortunate to have multiple hotels, motels, vacation rentals, and bed and breakfasts within walking distance of Whitman’s campus. Find more resources to help you plan your trip.
Can you recommend some places to eat?

What if I can’t visit on a Spring Into Whitman Day?
Whitman offers individual campus visits Monday-Saturday. For those visits, options include a student-led campus tour, an information session and/or meeting with an Admission Officer, a class visit, building and program specialty tours and a meal with one of our current students.
