What should I expect?
Early Check-In and Campus Exploration—Friday

If you will be arriving on Friday, take advantage of our early check-in option. This allows you to settle in and get a head start on exploring the campus. Enjoy an evening campus tour, engage in some campus activities and explore Walla Walla.
Check-In
8-10 a.m.
Check in opens at 8 a.m. If you haven’t visited Whitman’s campus before, we recommend arriving no later than 8:30 a.m. to start your day with a student-led tour and a Whitman 101 or Residence Life information sessions. If you’ve visited already, you’ve already gone on a tour, so you may wish to arrive a little later. The opening session starts at 10 a.m.!
Opening Session
10 a.m.
Spring Into Whitman Day will officially begin with a welcome from Whitman’s President Sarah Bolton!
Brunch & Beyond
10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
During this time, enjoy Saturday brunch (and made-to-order coffee!) in Cleveland Commons. You’ll also be able to get a taste of academic life by attending sample classes, get a behind-the-scenes look at some of Whitman’s special programs and facilities, and explore Whitman’s residence halls. You can also register for individual meetings to discuss how Whitman supports students throughout their time at Whitman.
Student and Family Panels
1:30-2:30 p.m.
Current Whitties will share their experiences and answer questions from prospective students. Family members will have a separate panel just for them!
Closing Festivities
2:30 p.m.
We’ll wrap up the day with ways to help make your decision and a Whitman swag raffle! There will be a student activities fair afterwards that will give you a chance to meet Whitman students involved in some of Whitman’s 100+ clubs and organizations.
We can’t wait to welcome you to campus and help you discover all that we have to offer!
