Jake Rosenberg ’05
Jake Rosenberg ’05 is the Executive Director of Shared Services Operations for Kaiser Permanente of the Northwest. In this role, he leads an interdisciplinary team responsible for facilities planning, acquisition, and operation for an integrated healthcare delivery system that includes two hospitals, and 38 ambulatory care facilities, and 21 dental offices serving over 600,000 health plan members in Oregon and Southwest Washington. After Whitman, Jake attended the University of Minnesota to obtain a Master of Healthcare Administration degree and then joined Kaiser Permanente in 2005. He has held a variety of leadership roles in care delivery operations, planning, and strategy. In 2020, Jake co-founded Process and Things, a consultancy started on the idea that rising healthcare leaders need to prepare for the complexities of the changing healthcare environment. The firm works with higher education institutions and corporate entities to enhance healthcare leadership education and collaborative approaches to problem-solving through simulation-based learning. Outside of work, Jake is actively involved with his community, serving on the Boards of the North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce, intellectual and developmental disability service agency Albertina Kerr, and housing services provider JOIN. Jake enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children and enjoying the many benefits of life in the Pacific Northwest, including being close to Walla Walla to continue to give back to the Whitman community.
