Chelsey Waters

My role as Community Engagement Coordinator is to help connect students to volunteer experiences and leadership opportunities through programs in the Walla Walla-area community. These programs include local school literacy and after-school programs, food justice initiatives, outreach to people with disabilities, and ecological restoration efforts, among others.

I’ve lived in Walla Walla for about 25 years. In that time, I’ve volunteered with local organizations including BMAC and the Red Cross, and I’ve taught at Walla Walla Community College, Walla Walla University, and the Washington State Penitentiary. I love working with students and am happy to meet with anyone interested in volunteering and community engagement!
