Brandon Weimer
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with the state of Washington. I received my B.S. in Psychology from Weber State University and my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University New England. My previous counseling experience includes working in partial hospitalization programs for adults as well as children and adolescents. I also have experience working within a state-run organization providing counseling and support to at-risk youths in the community. As a counselor I consider myself integrative. By this I mean that I utilize a number of different theoretical orientations to inform my approach with clients that I work with including: Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems, and Integrative Mental Health. I view each client that I work with as unique, special and valuable, with an inborn capacity to heal. Some of my interests include: reading, spending time with my family, the culinary arts, and traveling.
