Leah Garcia

I am a native of the Walla Walla Valley. I graduated from Walla Walla Community College in 2012 with a Medical Assistant license. My love for the medical field began in high school working in a nursing home and finding a connection with elderly people. It provoked compassion and love for the path I wished to pursue in caring and nurturing others. I worked with Green and Jackson Medical, a medical supply store for 12 years, and gained knowledge with Insurance Billing and Specialized Medical Equipment. My journey continued with Walla Walla Community College and granted me the experience of working with some of the best nurses and doctors in the Walla Walla Valley. My experience in urgent care, specialized medical practices and medical equipment has provided me a wonderful insight into the diverse field of medicine. I share tenacious energy with students, staff and faculty in paving the way towards an infinite future.
