Hey Loves, I am a Mental Health Counselor Associate (MHCA) credentialed in Washington State. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree in Critical Media Studies from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania and my Master of Science in Education degree in Mental Health Counseling from Alfred University in Alfred, New York. My counseling experience stresses the importance of supporting young adults as they navigate through the challenges of college by addressing anxiety, depression, grief, relationship conflicts and trauma. I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to each student’s needs such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Compassion-Focused Therapy.
