I'm Cody Tornow, and I've been working in higher education and international education for over a decade. I grew up in Eastern Washington, north of Spokane, and spent six years living and traveling in Asia. Before joining Whitman College, I spent eight years at Washington State University (WSU) working with an international student population larger than Whitman College. I supported several thousand international students, scholars, and their families while at WSU. Additionally, I spent five years in South Korea as a District Coordinator for the Korean Government's English Program in Korea (EPiK) in addition to doing tourism support and development for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
I hold a Master of Science in Management and Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Linguistics with a minor in East Asian Studies. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, hiking, listening to podcasts, playing with my son, and playing board games. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need support. I'm here to help!
