Whitman's Use of Directory Information
The information available in the myWhitman online directory includes each student's name, local and permanent address, email address, telephone number (if living on-campus) and photo. This information is only accessible to Whitman faculty, staff and students with credentials to login to the myWhitman portal.
Additional directory information may be shared in other circumstances, such as publicity pieces including website or magazine stories, press releases, or social media posts. However, as an institutional practice, Whitman does not publish materials including student directory information without express permission from the student.
Students have the right to request that Whitman not disclose certain directory information. To learn more about this, please contact the Dean of Students Office.
