Tiffany Mangulabnan
Tiffany is a New York-based Filipino dancer, choreographer and teacher, as well as a founding co-artistic director of Brooklyn-based contemporary ballet company konverjdans. Born and raised in Manila, she began her career as a principal dancer with the Philippine Ballet Theatre before moving to NYC in 2012. She has freelanced as a dancer with companies such as BalletNext, Claudia Schreier & Co., Emery LeCrone DANCE, Gleich Dances, Indelible Dance, Terra Firma Dance, Alison Cook Beatty Dance and others. She currently dances at The Metropolitan Opera, Pigeonwing Dance, Indelible Dance, Trainor Dance, and John Passafiume Dancers. Since 2016 she has choreographed several works for the stage as well as written and directed a handful of short films. Her work has been performed at festivals like Carolina Ballet's Choreographers Spotlight Series, Battery Dance Festival, CounterPointe, the Periapsis Open Series, the Woman in Dance Leadership Conference in NYC and the Riverside Dance Festival in Florida. Her work has been performed at venues like New York Live Arts, The Mark Morris Dance Center, The Mark O'Donnell Theater, Triskelion Arts, Vero Beach Museum of Art, and the North Carolina Museum of Art. She teaches advanced ballet classes at The Joffrey Ballet School in New York City, advanced/professional classes at NY Community Ballet, and has also taught at Barnard College/Columbia University as well as at the SUNY Purchase Dance Conservatory.
