Andrew Davis ’18
Andrew Davis ’18 came across the country from Washington D.C., where he graduated from St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, to Walla Walla to pursue his undergraduate education. He first contributed financially to Whitman by joining with his classmates to support the Senior Fund in the spring of 2018. Five years later, Andrew stepped up to make a generous multiyear pledge to The Whitman Fund designated to scholarship aid and internships. As a student, Andrew majored in Philosophy and served as President of Beta Theta Pi. He was also president of the college’s Organic Garden. His time in the garden and the surrounding blue mountains led to an interest in horticulture and a career studying fungal DNA. He launched and runs a small company, InoculateTheWorld, LLC, and is also a co-founder of 5DG Therapeutics, a research lab based out of the University of Florida’s Mcknight Brain Institute. Andrew resides in Walla Walla where he continues to grow his company and re-engage with the Whitman community.
