Jeremy Floberg ’95 & Sara Sakamoto ’98
Jeremy Floberg ’95 and Sara Sakamoto ’98 are members of the President’s Advisory Board. They have deep affinity for Whitman’s Residence Life program and are excited to support the junior-senior residential village and the naming of Harvey Hall. Both Floberg and Sakamoto were Psychology majors with minors in Biology, and they similarly worked within Whitman’s Residence Life system as students and as alumni. Floberg was a Resident Assistant in Anderson Hall and in Douglas Hall the following year, and upon graduation, he served as Resident Director of Jewett Hall before joining the Residence Life and Housing office as Associate Director. Sakamoto was a Student Academic Advisor in Prentiss Hall and, upon graduation, served as Resident Director in Prentiss Hall for two years and as an Admission Officer for one year. She attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and is currently a Physician and Assistant Professor of OB-GYN Reproductive Science at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Floberg is a Trust and Estates Specialist at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. They reside in Pittsburgh with their two daughters, 9-year-old Kalia and 6-year-old Jada.
