Kirsten Adams Gable ’01

Newly appointed Trustee Kirsten Adams Gable ’01 has supported Whitman through 25 years of consecutive giving. Most recently, through the Upward Together campaign, she has been a champion in providing resources for the junior-senior residential village and unrestricted giving for the college’s greatest needs.

While at Whitman, Gable was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, competed in varsity track and enjoyed playing intramurals (even earning a couple of blue shirts). After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Whitman, Gable went on to earn an M.B.A. at Gonzaga University.

Through her former work as a member and Chair of both the President’s Advisory Board and the Alumni Association Board, giving back to Whitman has been a leading priority in her postgraduate life. She resides in Spokane, Washington, where she and her husband, Brent, are raising two very busy daughters. She serves as the Organizational Transformation Practice Lead at Sapere Consulting, Inc.

Fifty Under 50 is a new initiative recognizing emerging leaders in philanthropy. Members are graduates of the class of 1989 or later and have made gifts and pledges exceeding $50,000 to the campaign.
