Paul Montgomery ’89 & Tricia Putnam Montgomery ’90
Paul ’89 and Tricia Putnam Montgomery ’90 created the Paul and Tricia Montgomery Internship Endowment to provide student stipends for unpaid internships. The endowment supports the work of the Career and Community Engagement Center and helps students gain the experience and skills they need to transition successfully from Whitman to the working world. Tricia now serves as a member of the Board of Trustees. As students, Tricia majored in psychology while Paul earned his degree in economics. Both participated on the Student Admission Advisory Council and in Greek Life, with Tricia as a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and Paul as a Delta Tau Delta. Tricia began her brand strategy and marketing career at Procter & Gamble, then moved on to Starbucks, Microsoft and Coinstar before starting her own company, Montgomery Consulting Group, LLC. Paul also started his career at Procter & Gamble, then moved to Microsoft, though pursued a career in finance. He now serves as Group Vice President of Finance for Providence Health & Services. Paul and Tricia have three children and live in Seattle.
