What brought you to Whitman?
I really like the Northwest and the outdoors. It's a great fit for me. I like living in a small town because it's way more laid back. Also, the students stay on campus more because it's a small town - that's why this campus is so alive.
What is the best class you've taken so far?
Anthropology, it's super interesting. It's been eye-opening learning different points of view. Now I'm aware of the biases that exist in historical works that I never considered when I'd read them before.
What do you like to do for fun?
A lot of camping and hiking! I'm also on the Ultimate Frisbee team.
What's your go-to meal at Cleveland Commons?
I like the global food station. They have good vegetarian options. I'm a vegetarian for health and environmental reasons.
What's your favorite thing about being a student at Whitman?
I really like the community here. Everyone is really nice. The upperclassmen are really nice too. It's a great place to fit in.
