Whitman's Women's Basketball shows a touch of class in Lewis & Clark game
They say form is temporary but class is permanent. Right now, the women's basketball team has both. Ranked #1 in the nation for Division 3, the Lady Missionaries showed their class against Lewis & Clark by letting senior Tayler Wang, who had suffered a season-ending knee injury, score in the dying seconds of a game Whitman was winning. Wang came on as a substitute after the game was decided and scored a late basket which put her over the 900 point mark for her career.
Whitman plays University of Puget Sound on Feb. 27 in the semi-finals of the NWC tournament.
