Whitman College announces its largest fundraising campaign in its history: Upward Together: The Campaign for Whitman College. The Whitman College campaign will focus on key priorities, including access and affordability, and academic excellence and distinction.

Students will get valuable insights into the art of writing and publishing their work from published poet Sara Nicholson, Ph.D.

Ten Whitman faculty members received promotions, effective as of the start of the 2023–2024 academic year.

For more than two decades, Whitman College has partnered with the Davis United World College (UWC) Scholars program to bring international students to its campus. This year, Whitman has a record 101 Davis UWC Scholars, including 35 first-year students.

Whitman College faculty and CTUIR partnered to provide STEM education to local Tribal youth in special summer school. During four weeks of immersion, students were very active in their science, technology, engineering and mathematics education.
