We’ll Pay for Your Internship

You’ll learn important lessons and life skills outside the classroom.

At Whitman College, we’ll pay you to have those experiences.

Each year, we provide students between $3,000-$5,000 each to fund their dream internships. It’s called the Whitman Internship Grant.

During the school year, you might work with community nonprofits or teach local school children. Whitman students have also had some amazing summer internships, such as rehabilitating marine animals, working on propulsion systems at NASA, helping write legislation and working to develop virtual reality.
