This is a government run website that should serve as a primary regulatory source for F-1 international students. It is designed with international students in mind - easy to read and navigate. It is always up to date and reliable. 

Canvas for International Students

Current international Students receive access to the International Student Canvas Site. This site provides Whitman-specific, in-depth and up-to-date information on your legal status, rights, obligations, and potential immigration benefits. When the school is in session, the ISSS office sends a weekly newsletter using the site to all international students. You can read past issues of this newsletter here.

Following the Canvas site and reading the weekly newsletter will make your international student experience at Whitman College and in the USA much, much easier and more fun.
