November 10, 2021 Faculty and Staff of Color Fall Social

The diversity and inclusion offices of Walla Walla’s three higher education institutions (Whitman College, Walla Walla Community College, and Walla Walla University) recognize that it can be especially isolating for faculty and staff of color working at predominantly white institutions. For that reason, we want to provide a community space focused on connection, healing, and networking. We are hosting a Fall Staff & Faculty of Color Social where folks can build and connect with other higher education professionals of color in the region.

The event will be held from 4–6 p.m on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at the Water and Environmental Center on the campus of Walla Walla Community College. Light refreshments and wines from WWCC’s award-winning Institute for Enology and Viticulture will be featured. Please RSVP if you plan to attend.
