Ureters
Urine is formed by the kidneys. It contains the nitrogenous wastes, ions, drugs and other materials filtered from the blood by the kidneys.
The two ureters (right ureter in red ellipse) are hollow tubes that exit the two kidneys. Urine passes through the ureters to reach the urinary bladder for storage.
We've placed a plastic tube (horizontal) dorsal to the ureters to show where they join with the urinary bladder.
