Health and Wellness Considerations
At the Whitman Climbing Center, we prioritize the health and safety of our community. If you're feeling unwell—experiencing symptoms like fever, cough, sore throat, congestion, nausea, or fatigue—we kindly ask that you stay home and rest up before returning to climb. Taking care of yourself helps keep our space welcoming and safe for everyone. Thanks for looking out for your fellow climbers!
- If you're feeling unsure about your symptoms but still choose to climb, we encourage wearing a mask to help keep our community healthy.
- Wash hands with the portable wash station before and after climbing and potentially during your session as well.
- In this facilit, no loose chalk is allowed. Liquid chalk and chalk balls are the permitted forms of chalk usage (better for lungs due to our ventilation system and for our electronics). The climbing center sells chalk balls at the front desk.
- Bathroom access into Sherwood is available by request to front desk staff.
