Community Service House

The Community Service House has six rooms and comfortably houses a total of seven residents and one resident assistant (RA). Residents of the Community Service House focus on how to best serve the greater Walla Walla community by working with various community partners such as Blue Mountain Heart to Heart and the Blue Mountain Humane Society. The Community Service House also works to strengthen the Whitman community through programs like free food events, cooking classes and documentary screenings.

Unlike other houses in the IHC, members of the Community Service House do not have a Whitman on-campus meal plan. Instead, residents cook and prepare meals together, encouraging a vibrant communal life.
