Tekisuijuku
Established in, Tekisuijuku has 6 bedrooms and comfortably houses on average five-six students, one Resident Assistant, and a language assistant. The language assistant is a native Japanese speaker and spends the full academic year working through the Japanese department to promote and assist students in the learning of the Japanese language.
This house focuses on Japanese-oriented interests.
The Tekisuijuku is affiliated with the Japanese department and is assigned an adviser from the Japanese department. At least once in the semester, the house adviser is invited over for dinner to discuss the programs that the Tekisuijuku residents are planning for the semester.
Residents of the Tekisuijuku are responsible for completing weekly chores, having active involvement within the house and the Interest House Community, and promoting house sponsored events and activities.
