Writing House
Established in 1994, The Writing House has four bedrooms and comfortably houses an average of six residents and one Resident Assistant. The Writing House provides a strong creative atmosphere for students to live together and improve their writing abilities. Residents of the house host a number of writing-oriented activities throughout the school year, such as a weekly Writer's Colony.
The Writing House is assigned an adviser from the English Department. At least once in the semester, the house adviser is invited over for dinner to discuss the programs that Writing House residents are planning for the semester.
Residents of The Writing House are responsible for completing weekly chores, being actively involved within the house and the Interest House Community, and promoting Writing House-sponsored events and activities.
If you would like to eat dinner at the Writing House, or have any questions about house activities, please contact the RA.
