Greek Diversity Council

The issues of diversity, equity and inclusion have been a primary focus area within the Whitman Sorority and Fraternity system since January 2017, when Panhellenic first appointed a Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion. The IFC followed suit and appointed a Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion in January 2018. Realizing that these issues needed to be a central component of sorority and fraternity life and go much further and much deeper than the Panhellenic and IFC Councils, a Greek Diversity Council that is comprised of 1–2 members of each chapter and led by the Panhellenic and IFC Vice Presidents of Diversity and Inclusion, was created in January 2019.
